Side Fold Hydrangea Card

Hi Stampers,

I am so excited to share my first show of making a simple and elegant card today.    Hydrangea is my favorite flower and my Grandmother as well.   A new January-June Mini catalog is released last January 5.   With my excitement, I finally ordered Hydrangea Hill Suite to make cards.   Here is my post on the card measurements and instructions along with some pictures:

Measurements:

Highland Heather – Cut at 4 ¼” x 11”

Hydrangea Hill Designer Series Paper – Cut at 1” x 4”

         And 4” x 4”

Gorgeous Grape 3/8” Sheer ribbon – Cut 12 inches

Gorgeous grape cardstock – Cut at 4” x 4”

Basic White cardstock – Cut at 3 ¾” x 3 ¾”

Hydrangea Hill Designer Series Paper – Cut one flower

Instructions:

Cut a piece of 4 ¼” x 11” highland heather cardstock and score at 5 ½” and 6 ¾” along the 11” side

Use a Stampin Seal + (strong adhesive) and apply in between two scored lines, then seal it to the left panel as you close it.

  • Stamp a sentiment 3 3/4" x 3 3/4" piece of Basic White cardstock.
  • Layer and adhere to a  4" x 4" piece of gorgeous grape cardstock and to the card.
  • Cut a flower from Hydrangea Hill Designer Series Paper with a snip scissor.   Adhere it with multipurpose glue to the bottom on the left side as shown.

  •  Adhere a 1” x 4” piece of Hydrangea Hill Designer Series Paper on the left side.
  • Wrap a 12” gorgeous grape 3/8” Sheer ribbon to securing a bow.

  • Stamp a sentiment piece of Basic White cardstock and cut out.
  •   Crop a piece of gorgeous grape cardstock with Tasteful label die by using a Mini Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine.

  • Adhere a 4”x 4” piece of Hydrangea Hill DSP to the card base.
  • Use Mini Stampin’ Dimensional to place the back of the sentiment to the gorgeous grape label.
